A few months ago I made a fishing vest card for fathers day. I have misplaced the vest I originally made. Today I have remade my vest here is a picture of the new one with an svg.

On my own again :)

Well after 4 months of living with my friend, I am on my own again.  Hopefully I will be able to get back into my card making without all the stress. I can't wait until I can go back to Canada.

Card File Postings

Hey everyone... I just want to thank everyone for the kind comments that I have received about my cards. As soon as I get back from California this week I will try to get my fishing vest card and Z fold card files posted. I also want to start a collection of different card bases. I have a few collected and I will start posting tutorials so our inspirations will never fade and we have different options. Eventually I will start making cut files and posting them also but not quite finished learning that process yet. I hope everyone has a great and safe 4th of July....Mary

Another Fishing Vest Card

For my original fishing vest that I posted yesterday, I designed it in MTC. I copied and pasted the design into inkscape and saved it as an svg. It pretty much has everything except to the pockets when I opened it in SCAL3. I will have to adjust it a bit to make sure it cuts everything out fine. Then make up a guide for all the score lines as I dont know how to add lines to my design.  Here is the vest I just cut with my pazzle after saving it as an SVG in inkscape. Looks good but I did have to fix the pockets by hand. After getting everything adjusted right, I will post my cut file.

Fishing Vest Card

I made this Fishing Vest Card after seeing it on two other blogs. The other blogs didnt have cutting directions so I made one myself. I put on an extra flap on the left side to help secure the buttons and so the right side goes under the buttons also. I did make this a file in MTC. I will post the files when I get the chance.

Shirt Card

I made the card base and my son decorated the inside :)

Border Z card

So i made a Z card for my mom for mothers day which is the purple card below. For the card i had to cut two pieces for the from and back of the card and then do the border separate. Then i sandwich the border in between the front and back card pieces. Well my mom wanted me to make her a few Z cards and she would decorate them. Well I figure using 3 pieces of paper was too much so I decided to scan a copy of the Z card and import it into MTC. Then added a border and welded the 2 pieces together. The blue card is the one I tried cutting out on my pazzle and I think it came out pretty good. Please let me know what you think. Later today I will post the cutting files.

below is a butterflies Zcard I just made
Below is a blue flower border I made
